I don't exactly remember when I stopped working on and with my Commodore 64 back in the days, but it may be about 1986 or 1987. I then got my first Amiga 1000 with 1MB RAM and an external drive. Some time later I sold my Amiga 1000 and got myself an AMIGA 2000 with ECS chipset and 1MB Chip-RAM. Some weeks later I bought a 105MB Quantum SCSI harddrive with controller and a RAM expansion first setup with 2MB Fast-RAM which was later on upgraded to 4MB Fast-RAM. About a year later I got a Macrosystems V-LAB 2.0 digitizer card too. That's my system as I still own it in the year 2020. It still perfectly boots up to this...

Screenshot from my partition DH0: named WB_2.x

In the last year I managed to transfer the complete content and file structure of the partition DH0: (WB_2.x) with lots of 720 KB floppy discs to my windows system and directly access the files as partition DH0: with my WinUAE setup. And it booted up at my first try to the same working result as the original system. I was a little bit happy then as you may think.

On this site I will present my works on the Amiga and take a closer look to several aspects of that machine.

  • Amiga 68000 Assembler Coding
Here I will present many code snippets based on my early works and completely new coded stuff. There will be a close look onto the 68000 instruction set and a browsable copy of the amiga hardware reference manual. It's - by the way - highly unlikely that I will present codes on vector balls and that stuff. It's about basics how to use the copper and blitter.
  • Tracker
Many years ago I had a website dedicated to Amiga Modules and Trackers which was very successful. The main aspects of this site will be added to this archive.
  • Graphics
There are lots of fantastic images out in the scene. But there are bitmap fonts, logos and several other elements I would like to present here.
  • Demos
I will take a closer look into those productions back in the days I liked so much. Some of them nearly made me stop breathing, e.g. Desert Dream from Kefrens.
  • Games
It's the same as with the demos. There were many games I played lots of hours and still give me a kick when playing them (Pinball Dreams & Fantasies, The Chaos Engine, Superfrog, Battle Squadron just to mention some of them).

Some other categories will come up by time.
